My 02 Mountaineer AWD, V8 has an oil leak beginning about 6 months ago. I see no oil under the car. I have seen only a slight bit of light colored smoke coming from my exhaust pipe which disipates very quickly. I hate to mention this because it is so slight. I see no residue at end of tailpipe. I lose about 2.5 quarts in 3-4 weeks when driving regularly. I was told the engine is blowing out oil thru any seam or spot it can because the extreme pressure of the engine. I was told the only remedy for this is a rebuilt. Any knowledge regarding this dilemma would be greatly appreciated.
