The climate controls just started acting up in my '02 Mounty. It's got just over 100K miles on it, bought it new in '02. It has the automatic climate control with dual zones (no rear). The a/c started blowing warm air back at the end of August, but not a big deal right now, as winter is fast approaching.

My concern now is that the auto climate control will just turn off while my wife is driving. She also said that if she turns the truck off, leaving the c/c on, when she restarts the truck, the c/c is now off. I'm not positive, but I did see this last part happen, and when I hit "auto", it turned on at 75 degrees, which I suppose it's possible she had it set at, but I doubt it was that high.

Someone else here had similar problems - he replaced the battery, and it fixed it.

That's interesting. I'm pretty sure I'm still running the stock battery (from '02)!

Ext temp sensor

my auto climate control is ahving problems because the EXT sensor says its 127 degrees outside so it thinks that setting it to 85 inside means cool the truck.. the sensor creeps up.. wondering if anyone can quickly tell me how where to fix this sensor...
