2002 Sport bumper paint & rust

Hey guys,

The rear bumper is starting to get a few rust spots here and there on my Sport. I decided to just sand it all down and repaint the bumper...should be an easy task, except none of the books or resources I know of (yes I've check the door too) have the color code for the flat gray trim/ bumper color.

My sport color is l2 (True Blue Met), with the flat somewhat dark gray trim. Anyone been through this before and know what the paint color is? I tried to match most of the Ford grays for 2002, but I don't think any are the correct color.

Not my specific vehicle...but same model and color...

I called 4 dealers...one was finally able to assist me...they found out the trim & bumper is called "Med Titanium"...but there is no paint code listed...anyone have a clue about this? There are no supporting materials anywhere that list "Med. Titanium as a FORD 2002 color, in fact the only titanium ford has listed was in the 93-94 range...

For as many rusty explorer sport bumpers as I've seen driving around this HAS to be a problem someone's had before?!?!?!?
