2002 Sport - How to Change the Spark Plugs

I've just put in a new air filter and new shocks on my explorer (much needed) and in the midst of all of this it was suggested that I put in new Spark Plugs (I hit well over 100,000 miles recently). I already have the tools, plugs, and a Haynes Manual but I wanted advice on the best way to do this since this is my first time. What's the easiest way to access the plugs?

Jack up the front of the truck, remove wheels , place on jack stands and access the plugs through the inner fender liners.
