2002 vacuum hose to nothing

I have 2 vacuum hoses running in the same split-loom under the air intake manifold. A red line that goes to the fuel rail and a white line that isn't connected to anything on either end. It's just dangling and bouncing around under the hood. Is this supposed to be connected to something, or is it some uninstalled accessory that can just be pulled out?

Similar issue with difference being mine is connected there and line thats unconnected runs from top outlet of vaccum reservoir but goes nowhere and top of reservoir has 2 outlets and neither are hooked to anything except this line running to nowhere but bottom line is connected and ac works fine/cold and in all positions except when its under a load or uphill it will cut off and switch to defrost vents until rpm goes up cant find what 2 outlets go to but think its check valve leak and since all works mayb 2 top outlets arent needed but idk need help
