ok, so i was changin my oil today and poking and prodding around in the engine compartment. i always thought my explorer was one of the lucky 93's w/out an EGR system. i was lookin at my pvc pcv i can never remember the right way it goes, but anyway on the top plenum, drivers side, theres a bundle of vacuum hoses, one goes to the brake booster, yadda yadda yadda, you know where im talkin about. the one closest to the intake pointing towards the front of the motor is cut at 2 inches with a bolt plugging it off. WTF? Am I to assume that was the line running to the egr valve or maybe its a vacuum hose for something else, something i would like to find out either way. so if any of you guys can help me out id appreciate it.
oh, nice read on the TPS. I've always heard about that but never thought about doing it to my explorer, i might give it a whirl.
