7 days ago, 4.5 yr old Battery died at work, jumped and drove home. (had been working fine) Due to age of battery, just bought and installed a new one, trickle charged for 5 hrs. All good several days.

2 days ago, radio, cd, and all power windows died, stopped working.

Checked fuse/CB, OK. Clock on radio will come on with lights and is correct. Power door locks work.

Ideas? How can they be related?

I think maybe god is telling me something. Time for a new truck! :)

Sounds like you may have a dying alternator. Which is making the battery not charge correctly. No need to go buy a new one just yet, as you can simply unbolt it and take it to oreilly, and have them test it.

But it starts and runs just fine, does not show low charge on amp meter and I measure 14vdc at the battery with the engine running.

How could an alternator cause the radio to not work? Its not like it causes a large amp draw.

But I will put the charger on it overnite to see what its drawing and see if the radio starts to work. Not getting my hopes up,, Changing the Alt would be fine with me.

I didn't know you tested the working of the alternator.
My next thought would be to check for a broken wire in the boot of the door. A broken wire could certainly mess with the windows. I'm not fully sure what could be causing the head unit to malfunction.

Found the common point for P/W and radio,, its called the Accessory Delay Relay, and it located, according to the owner manual,

ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE INSIDE FUSE PANEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(see your dealer for service on this box)

I can barely get to the fuse's stuck under the steering wheel.

F.U. FORD!

I jumped power to the Lt blue/black wire on the Master Window Adjust switch (thank you chilton) and radio and P/W's work.

I'm going to hot wire (with a fuse) and thats it.

Wont need the dang key any more to turn on the radio or roll up the windows :)
