I just got a 2003 xlt sport trac and the cruise is acting different than ive seen on other threads. The only time I can get the speed control light to come on is if I'm pressing the brake and press ON. It only comes on for split second. I have taken off the switch on the master cylinder and it does the same thing. Tested the switch for continuity and ohms and it tests fine. Any ideas?
