2003 explorer eddie bauer, power locks dont work, keyless either, makes noise

on my 03 explorer, if i press the power lock button to lock or unlock i can hear the motors in all the doors attempting to work, but nothing happens, same for keyless entry also, just makes noise, basically i can hear the motors attempt to work but the doors dont lock or unlock.

they worked fine when i purchased the vehicle, but i had to replace two of the doors, the replacement doors are from a 2002 explorer eddie bauer and they have power windows/locks, i just cant figure out why they are not working.

if anyone has any info on what could cause this let me know.

I'm having the same problem with me 02 eddie baur. to make matters worse, the rear door (hatch back) is locked and I don't have a key for it.
The clicking sound would not stop, so I pulled out the fuse and also lost my power seats Any Help???????

^you can unlock the hatch from inside the truck. you just need to climb back there and push up the switch from the cargo area.

i had one bad power door lock motor, replaced it and it fixed the problem

it was basically loading up and causing the others to not work all the way.

i unhooked each door wiring harness until i found the culprit, in my case i knew it was one of the passenger doors to start with.

either way it was just a bad motor, or a motor that needed re-adjusted.
