Sure you can! Just make sure you transfer over your trottle body because your explorer might be fly by wire aka (electric throttle body) so just make sure, the sport trac has the exact same engines as the explorer, I will advise you to probably check the timing chains while you have the donor engine out and possibly replace them cause they are a PITA to fix when the engine is in the car.

Tell me about it! My 2002 explorer had the cable and instant! My 04 is pretty good but there is definitely lag when I put it to the floor to pass!
