2003 Explorer replacing busted fog light

Howdy,

My 2003 Explorer has a busted fog light on the passanger side. Must have been hit with a rock or something. Ford will not just sell the glass, I have to get a whole new light for $80. I'd like to change it out myself, so I wanted to see if anyone has done this or has a walk through for it.

I am reasonably handy, but don't know much when it comes to cars.

My sister just went through the same exact thing with her 2003 explorer sport. She ended up buying the $80 part from the dealership but the guy gave her a deal...I think she paid about $65 for it. You have to buy the entire new unit so I would recommend buying the OEM.

I picked up the unit today at lunch, paid $81 for it, guess I am not as pretty as your sister.

Now its just a matter of putting it in. Hopefully its easy to do.
