I had just replaced the worn front tires after 93K miles, sticking with the Rugged Trails that I had on the back but going to T rating from the original S, so I have S rated on the front(with 10K miles on them) and the new T rated tires on the back. Immediately a loud thumping sound appeared on acceleration that actually shakes the vehicle occurring at intervals of about a second but mostly disappearing at speeds higher than 45mph. The longer I drive the worse the thumping. If I go into 4 wheel drive high, the thumping disappears at speeds greater than 5 mph. Any ideas what this might be?
