Hi guys..just bought this truck and while I was driving I lost acceleration truck still running just no acceleration. Pulled over Got out went to the fuel reset switch hit the button and truck started back up. Now I know I didn't hit no bumps so wondering if ya have any ideas on where to start..do I replace switch or try and figure out if I have a crash sensor that has gone bad..where should I start?

imo i would just leave it and see if it does it again. not worth chasing an issue that wont come back... idk where the inertia sensor is on these, but i imagine it probably may have been a fluke imo

Truthfully the fuel reset switches on these are so buggy. I hit a bimbo going 35 mph didn't trigger it so idk. So truthfully don't worry about it.

Inspect the inertia switch connector. Read of a few melting caused by a poor connection. As common a failure as the switch itself.

Not related, but the same with the multi function switch (MFS) connector in the tilt steering column. An issue with factory wiring being too short.

change the fuel filter. cant hurt might help.
