You have 2 options , 1 remove the fuel tank and then replace the line ,put tank back in ,
2 bypass the line and run the new one along the frame ,attaching it with clips to hold it in place ,this option is much easier , I did this on my 96
instructions on how you replace the brake line that runs along side the fuel tank. I had my brake lines replaced on my 2003 ford ranger for $986.00. FYI
