Ok, first of all, this is not about the gear indicator, I've had almost a dozen Explorers and I know how to fix that issue, and it seems to be all I can find out about with searches on the internet.
When I put it in drive, you can see the indicator go like halfway over the "D" and it doesn't fully lock into the gear. I slight tap and it falls back to Neutral. I've been driving it this way, but seeing as I finally just replaced EVERYTHING as far as the from suspension and passed inspect, I don't want to go back under and stare at the linkage and all that not knowing what to look for.
If anyone can help me out, It's greatly appreciated. It's my first Gen 3. Up till now I've had all 1991-1997.
Thanks In advance.
