I have a 2003 Explorer Eddie Bauer and the rear window sprayer for the windshield wiper does not work anymore. It worked fine up until a month ago and now when I press the spray button it moves the wiper 3 times but nothing comes out. And yes, I checked the obvious of enough fluid (and the front ones work fine.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Any advice on what it could be or how I could go about fixing it? It's out of warranty so going to the dealership will be an arm and a leg I'm sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

had same problem in my 02 XLT. while your truck is parked run the rear washer for a few seconds. check under the front passenger side to see if there is any fluid on the ground. my problem came from the hose inside the engine compartment comming off the line.it is next to the passenger side wheel well. if that is the case all you have to do is slip it back on to the little plastic line.

I also am having the same problem with my '03 XLT, I will try the above suggestion and hope it works, now that Canadian winter is upon us.

I finally got around to fixing this today. Had the wife run the sprayer while I checked under the hood. Found the water spraying on the passenger side wheel well. Hose had separated. Plugged back together and it works fine now.

Glad it wasn't anything more serious. It will be nice to have this working this winter.
