Was driving my 2004 explorer 4.0 flex fuel and it died about 4 blocks from home and wont start. Cranks over fine, begins to start with starting fluid in the throttle body, but never more than a few seconds. The fuel breaker on passenger side does'nt seem popped pushed it many times. It shows absolutely no codes or any problems. I would appreciate any help.

Have someone open the fuel door and listen when you turn the ignition switch to run (not start.) You should here the fuel pump turn on. If not, hopefully it's just the fuel pump relay and or fuse.

I checked the fuel relay and the fuel cut off switch, tried listening for the fuel pump turning on with key but couldn't hear it. Whats weird to me is why no codes, i am going to get a fuel pressure gauge, maybe that will shed some light.

It should start and run while squirting the starting fluid in the throttle body.
Possably the timing chain, IDK if it has an ignition module.
