hey guys
I was off roading on Friday night in my explorer when I went thru about 6 or so inches of water and it splashed up on the truck pretty good but nothing that I haven't done before. About 10 mins down the road I started getting a rough idle and check engine lights for multiple misfires. I assume the wires got wet so I blew them out along with the coil pack but no help. So since they were old wires I replaced them. After doing that it still ran rough but only had a code for misfire in cylinder 4. So I changed the coil pack and the spark plug and confirmed spark but still misfiring. I have since taken most of the connectors apart and cleaned them but still runs horribly. The only other code I got which went away quickly was one for barometric pressure being off in intake. The exhaust wreaks of unburnt fuel. I've been working on it all weekend but I'm stumped now and looking for some help. Thanks guys.
