2004 Explorer 4.0 XLT

Hey guys,
I have a 15 month old 2004 explorer xlt v6 with about 10,500 miles. Since brand new i have had a rough idle (shudders and shakes) along with a diesel-like noise at idle. I have taken it into the dealer numerous times but they keep giving me the run around that if the engine doesn't produce any codes, then there's nothing wrong with it. I made a clip of the noise that my engine produces at idle (makes the noise regardless of temperature) and I was wondering if any of the 2004 v6 explorer owners could listen to the clip and tell me if their vehicle makes the same noise. Wow that's idle? That sounds horrible. I don't know what could be wrong with it though.

do you got a longer sound clip I can't tell from just a 1 second clip if you have like a 10 second clip that would be helpful too

The clip is 25 seconds long. It sounds fine to me... if it were a Dodge Cummins! Sorry.

hmmm section how come for me it only plays it for 1 second on my computer.

Thats not right. If they cant fix it, go up the chain until someone can. I have an 05, should be the same, and it does not sound anything like that.

You dont need a code to have an issue.
