2004 explorer electric i think

alright so i have a 2004 2 wheel drive explorer and i had a blow out and it ripped off turning signal wire and others conecting to bulb socket then fuse blew cause wires broke i fixed the turning signal respliced some wires replaced turning signal fuse but some other problems occured and im trying to figure out how to fix it


alright i first noticed my speedometer wasnt lighting up .. i then noticed my entire dash wasnt lit up radio temp control all not working i did some trouble shooting and learned that my door lock lights also do not light up put my dome lights will light up and my window button lights will light up .... my door has also been bent so the door ajar is on 99 percent of the time ... dome lights just to come on but dont anymore(i can still manually turn on dome lights) finally i have no idea when it started but the other night someone told my wife we had no tail lights :(offically un drivable at night .. please try to help wife and i are very poor :us:

Research "door ajar" and you'll find some good threads on it. Could be as simple as some WD40 in the door latch, or you may need to fix a wire in the door jamb.
 






would door ajar really cause the rest of my problems ... the door ajar is the least of my worries
 






Search it on the forum, you'll see it causes all sorts of issues. Does it cause all of yours? That I don't know.
 






OK I fixed door ajar all problems persist:salute:
