2004 Explorer: How do I remove the center console trim piece??

I have a 2004 Explorer. I'm installing the Ford Sirius kit. I need to remove the center (fake) wood trim piece to get the radio out.

I've tried to pull on the piece in different areas. I don't want to pull too hard because I'm afraid I'll break it.

Can anyone tell me the best way to get this trim piece off? Pictures would be amazing.

Use a hook/pick tool to pry under it. Starting at the top right is the easiest, because there's a tab piece there that holds it. Once you get that popped out just work your way around.
