Hello all, I have a 2004 Sport Trac Adrenalin series. It came with the factory installed Pioneer radio system with subwolfer behind the rear seat. I am wanting to put a new radio unit in it so I will be able to play music through my phone Aux, bluetooth isnt a requirement, but some of the ones im looking at have it.

I guess my question is for all of them (specifically my top pick) would they fit without modification and new wires, or would I need an adapter kit, and if so, which one? Thanks so much, audio newbie here

Ive narrowed it down to three, and amazon and crutchfield both say they fit, but I wanted to double check here.

Top Pick (cheapest) http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-DEH-15.../dp/B0091V0A9U

1x DIN chassis radios will fit almost any car. They make wiring harness connectors (Metra) to adapts your stock connector to the stereo without hacking up your stock harness.

Two of your links are bad, don't know if you bought a stereo yet. You should really consider Kenwood, maybe wait till Critchfield does a speaker combo deal. Critchfield also supplies the harness adapter and install kits with most purchases. Going through Amazon, you'll have to get them separate, at an expense to you.

Also, save up, get something as close to $100 as you can.

Damn, thought this was from March, just saw it was from January. What did you end up doing?
