2005 ford explorer remote

HI, I have a 2005 explorer and I bought a new remote control and wen I try to program it it works but my other original that I have gets off program any suggestions please thank you

Yes you have to program them at the same time as it clears all previous remotes. After you press lock on one of them to program it simply press lock on the other one to program it too. Done.

When you programmed the new remote, did you have to push a button under the dash? If so, where was it located. My Explorer has a remote start system, but I didn't get the remote when I bought the truck and I cannot find the button anywhere.
