Believe it or not I am at 145,000 miles on the original rotors, calipers and only the second set of pads on my 2006 Ford Explorer V8! Pretty impressive! It's time to put new rotors, pads and maybe calipers as well. Any idea ballpark what this should run me at the dealership? I have a good Ford dealership I work with locally but just want to know what it should cost. Should I consider an independent service place with aftermarket brake parts? The factory brakes have lasted so long I wanted to just stick with them but always appreciate input. Thank you.

I have same car. I am at 228k miles and still on original calipers. I flushed the fluid once and that was a big help. I get a set of new rotors and pads from one of the online stores on ebay and with shipping it costs about $80 to $90 (front only, rear about the same). The job takes about an hour. The dealer cost for pads and rotors will probably run into 500-600.
If you want to do calipers as well it may approach a thousand bucks. But if they are still moving freely why replace ? Just clean and lube them.
