2006 Explorer Airbag Light

My airbag light has been on for a while now. I haven't really minded because nobody ever rides up front but my dog, but I figured it might as well get fixed. I have been doing my research on here, and have noticed many people were successful and getting this light to go off once they replaced their battery. I replaced mine, and the light is still on. My first question... Is this covered after the warranties expire by Ford? Last question.... What part/parts(with part #'s if possible) do I need to replace to fix this?

to start with you need to get the airbag codes pulled with a scanner that will do airbag codes. then post them here.
