My explorer just went out of warranty and the driver's airbag light recently came on and stays lit. I have spent $90 to have ford run tests but the problem was not detected. They want me to pay additional money now for additional tests but before I do that, are there some easy fixes I could try?

codes? er im confused you paid diagnostic fee and they want more?

I'll keep looking, but I can't find the results of the diagnostic...they ran 3 tests and none came back as a problem though. They said they were to a point where they would have to take apart the steering column and that it would be about $143 + parts and labor to fix...that's when I told them to stop...I really didn't know it would cost $90 for the tests I had but I guess I should have asked up front.

I'll try to get by Auto Zone today and see if they get any codes.
