2006 Explorer information LCD screen Displays garbage

Hi Guys,
A while back i saw a post about this issue.
The most common repair is to have the complete dashboard swapped out but then it needs to be reprogrammed. Very costly.
I saw a post someone figured out there are 4 resistors that need to be re soldered and problem solved. Information display works perfectly!!
I can't find the post.
Can any one post a link ?
I'm doing the repair and I will post pics for other people to see.

what I think you are talking about is the little message center screen in the instrument panel. There is a TSB issued due to the issue of the the odometer reading moving from the from the bottom to the top of the screen and then back erratically. The fix for this was to install a 'Fair Rite Round Cable Snap-On Suppressor' around the cluster harness circuits.
