2006 ford explorer clearing warning messages

I pickup a 2006 ford explorer a message appeared on the dash oil changed required.
I need to know how to clear this message?

Turn on the truck. go through the menu and one is hold button for reset or something like that. at that screen hold it down until it goes through the system checks and at the oil reset it. Does it need an oil change? The default for 100% life is 5000 miles.
