- 2005 XLS and 2006 XLS
Hello guys, first time posting.
(Though I've had a 2005 Explorer for some time, I have previously found info that has come in handy
... for that I thank you and this site).
This post is due to me not finding the info I need
... for a newly acquired 2006 Explorer XLS, (purchased just a day and half ago).
Problem, (related to the interior of truck);
The harnesses that split from truck to the rear liftgate glass,
... they seem to be the defrost harnesses ( ??? ) with a protective rubber or plastic trimming.
The driver side harness has been yanked out or unattached to the glass,
and driver side protective (rubber or plastic) harness trimming is missing.
I'd like to reattach harness (or replace if broken), as well as purchase and install protective trimming.
I am unable to find illustration or part number(s) for these.
I have not gone to the stealer, and am trying to avoid having to go there.
Any suggestions how I may go about getting applicable info, and/or steps involved to repair?
Thank you.
Regard, Rob.
