2006 xlt heater problem

Hi

Ive got a 2006 Explorer and recently had some overheating issues the garage changed 3 thermostats on it and the temperature guage still boosts up every once in awhile but comes back down to normal now that its colder out the trucks heater will heat normally while im driving but as soon as i stop or idle cold air comes out id really like to know whats wrong

I have the same problem so I clicked in here to see what's up.. Nothing yet, damn.

Air in the system, worn out water pump, propeller detached from the shaft, low coolant....
Try running without the thermostat.
