2007 Eddie Bauer 4x4

I am looking to buy new tires soon and I was wondering if anyone new what the largest tire is I can fit on my stock 2007 Eddie Bauer Explorer. It has on it currently P235/65R18's on it. Can anyone help me out and let me know what I can fit on it without rubbing?

I went stock size on the same wheel and went with Goodyear Fortera Tripple Treads. I haven't tried them out in the snow yet, but they have excellent specs and I've run them on an 01 Escape we have with great luck. They are expensive, but you're likely to get more than 60K out of them with a tread wear rating of 600.

Chance-What size tire did you end up going with? I am looking into this same situation now. I would like to go to 265/60/18 on my stock 18 inch wheels.

I am driving on 265-60-18 on my 06 for the past 200k miles almost.

And you have no issues with rubbing on the inside next to the suspension? Do you have any wheel spacers or is it just really close inside on the front?

No spacers, no rubbing.

And it looks way better as opposed to those 235's that look like bicycle tires
