Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums as well as to the explorer family. I have a 2007 XLT. I bought this truck with the idea of having some fun with it by putting in a few screens, bluetooth, basically anything I can do to make my 6-year old think I have the coolest car in the world.
I purchased last night the Panasonic CQ -VD6503U
(any opinions on this unit are welcome)
The reviews I read were all postive so I will let everyone know how it goes.
Which brings me finally to my question, while I was looking at my radio this morning it seemed a bit bigger than a double din, I'm thinking it may be my imagination but does anyone know for sure if the 2007 radio bay is a double din?
Also I tried to remove the panel this morning to see how to do the install and I got stuck toward the bottom and I definitely did not want to pull too hard. Any advice on how to remove that piece to get to the radio?
