i'm replacing the front hub assembly on both front wheels.

I was told that National Bearings 515078 Wheel Hub & Bearing Assembly was a good product; has anyone else used these?

thanks

PS: how long before you replaced yours...if you had to. I made it to 90,000.

I would recommend using OEM Motorcraft, find a good deal on ebay.
90k is a norm.
I used some aftermarkets on front and rear only to replace them again soon.

Motorcraft, SKF or Timken

My right right one went out at about 93 K. Replaced the left while i was at is cuz I could feel that it would go soon. I bought Motorcraft off of ebay. It came with new hardware. The OEM motorcraft brand actually use timkin bearings in their assemblies. Be sure to go to your local ford dealer and buy two brand new axle nuts- DON'T reuse them.

what bearings to use

I have to replace my fronts on a 2008 EB. Looking on Ebay and Rock auto, it looks like both Motorcraft HUB67 and HUB29 will work for an 08. HUB29 is the exact part number for an 08 (7L2Z-1104a) Hub67 is an earlier paret number (4l #). there is about a $40 difference though. does anyone know what the difference is and if a HUB67 will work on an 08?

I just replaced both of my front hubs after 160.000 miles with Motorcraft HUB-29 ordered from Rockauto. Did not want to take a chance for HUB-67 in case if I will need to return those. The model 29 comes up with ABS accessories and wiring harness.

Due to the fact that the original hubs actually last > 150,000, there is no reason that I would switch to other brand names and models, even though those might cost considerably less.

The job for both fronts took me about 4 1/2 hours from start (setting up) to finish (clean up the mess).

Good luck
