2008 Explorer Fuel Filter location

Does anyone know the location of the Fuel Filter on a 2008 Eddie Bauer?

Should be at the same place as at my 2007 XP.
It sits under the car in the area behind the passenger seat behind a silver colored metal shield that has to be removed to replace the filter.

Yep, just in front of the gas tank... I changed mine a couple of weeks ago.

Do you need any special tools to change the fuel filter?

Did you go with Motorcraft or a generic fuel filter?

As you can guess, it's time to change mine.

no special tools needed. you are supposed to pull the fuel pump solenoid and attempt to start the engine to relieve pressure in the line.

I used a wix filter.

wear protective eye wear and be ready for some gas to come out.
