2008 ford explorer halo fog projectors

So I bought the popular halo fog light projectors for the 4th gen ford explorer , I'm wondering on how to get the halo ring separate from the fog light them selfs, like if I just want to run the halo ring how can I wire it so that only the halo ring runs, should I wire it to my headlights so anytime they're on the ring is on or is there a way to do so via the fog light switch.

bumping this .... I have the same question. Looking for a good answer.
I would like mine to light the halos when the parking lights are on. Was thinking of tapping into the side marker lights but the wiring is so light gauge I thought better of messing with it.

Any ideas out there?
