My moonroof likes to go into the vent mode. Problem is, if I shut it, it pops right back into vent on its own.
I'm thinking it may be a fault in the motor - limit switch or the like.
Any thoughts or solutions?
Given that it's going to rain tomorrow, I wanted to get it shut and keep it shut.
Here's what I did, I noticed that if I pushed and held the 'vent close button' at would stay until I released it.
So, I did just that, then I turned the key off while still holding the vent close button.
With the Expo still off, I popped down the overhead console and separated the moonroof wiring connector, and left it unplugged. Then remounted the console.
Sadly, the moonroof shares fuses with other things in the truck, so that wasn't an option. At least I have it decidedly closed until I have more time to sort it out.
