2010 explorer Eddie Bauer 4.0L squealing under 30 mph

noticed today while leaving for work I have an awful screeching noise coming from the front end. it sounds the same when turning, it goes away when I brake and it stops past 30 mph. I had a 30 minute commute and it’s driving me insane please help

Pull the wheel and check the brakes. Also check the wheel bearings for noise and excess play.

Yea, the ppad wear indicactors squeek, that is untill you hit the brakes. Wont hurt to check the pads now will it?

Is it doing it while idling or reving at stop?
