Anyone know where the master code number is on a 2010 Limited Explorer? The card was not in with the Owners Manual and I don't want to have to take a trip back to the dealership.

Thanks!!

It's not anywhere on the car. You're going to have to take it back to get scanned. It cost me $43.

ummmm, not sure about a 2010, but on most explorers, its on the security module deal, look here: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195398

EDIT- that might not work for you(for 2nd gens), according to this for 3rd gens:
Looks like mikecameras took his very good tutorial down for finding the keyless entry code on Gen 3 Explorers. :(
The code is a 5 digit number printed on the Security Module. The dealer can scan the module and retrieve the code and will charge you about $75, or you can look yourself for free. :) The SM is mounted behind the trim piece on the pasenger side 'C' pillar. You have to loosen the trim piece and pull it out at the top. Then you can look down there at the SM and read the number. It will help to use an inspection mirror and flashlight.

Not sure about 4th gens, but if its not in one of those places then its probably somewhere in the truck, search around on here, there is probably info somewhere

I already researched if it is on the 4th gens and it is definitely not. You have to get it scanned.
