2010 explorer not shifting in cold weather

2010 ford explorer occasionally will not shift into gear. The shift lever moves alright, but truck will not move until you place it in neutral and rev to about 1500 rpm until it warms up then runs fine. Dealership checked it, found nothing, has anyone else had this problem, if so what was it? appreciate the help, Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, dewone. How many miles are on your Explorer? Does this only happen at certain times, such as first thing in the morning? If so, you may want to consider leaving it at the dealership overnight so they can try to replicate it.
