2010 Ford Explorer just bought used

I just purchased a 2010 Ford Explore 4WD. Runs good has wear and tear for 2010. I am please with it so far. I do have an issue I cannot figure out. I figured out how to open the back window on the hatch. I did have the hatch door open the first day. Now I cannot figure out what buttons are locked and to deal with to get the hatch open. Maybe I need to work on the locking mechanism, but since I do not know how to open the hatch I think that is what I need to figure out first. I have no manual for the SUV. Help Please

Are you referring to the glass hatch only or the entire lift gate?

The entire lift gate. I can open close and lock the window

There is a hatch release in the center right above the license plate.

Yup, they can be a little tricky to find when the vehicle is new to you. It took me a minute or 2 when I bought a 2009 XLT about 3 months ago. Not sure if Eddie Bauer or higher end trims operate differently.
Mine has a pull handle for the entire rear door directly above the license plate and the button pictured to open the glass only. Just to the right of the license plate light.
