my vehicle showed no sign of anything wrong ...i went to work parked it and came out an hour later and started but would not restart...had towed to a garage...they changed fuel filter ,spark plugs/wires and coils and then changed the fuel pump and also the crank sensor and still will not start...sounds like it wants to but will not..what can be wrong? no lights were showing anything wrong and a scan show nothing wrong when its put on a machine

What did the shop tell you? I really hope they didn't charge you to just throw parts at it.

Is it getting fuel?

spark?

Wow sounds like your shop is using the shotgun approach and just replacing everything possible.

What does it do when you try to start it? I mean you're going to buy three more trucks before that particular shop finds the issue, IMO.

odd there is another member that is having similar issues. his started fine drove 3 blocks died and will not restart. he is going it alone no shop is working on it. have they checked to see if the fuel is getting all the way to the fuel rail? it has to be a fuel or spark issue. with new plugs and wires It almost has to be a fuel issue unless the coil pack has gone bad.
