My engine lost #2 cyl when I was driving and now I found it has no compression in that cyl. The truck has 115,000 miles

Pop the valve cover and see if the valve springs are still in place. if it wasn't rattling they are probably missing. if it was death rattling one of the timing chains probably gave way. (V6 im guessing)

But 1 and 3 are working and 4,5 and 6
 






Probably the valve spring keeper then. Pop the valve cover and check. Wont know unless you look If that isnt it, I would grab a bore scope and have a look in the cylinder.

We did have a look inside and could not see anything wrong. What all is removed to get the right side valve cover?
 






Passenger side? let me think, its been a while. I don't think the intake has to come off, but the egr pipe needs to come off, the alternator, the air box, and air pipe, and maybe the throttle body. its been a while.
