2010 transmission onto a 2003 Explorer

Hello to everyone!
Newbie here with a question!
I have a 2003 4.0L 4x2 Explorer with a glass grinding transmission(broken), I found a healthy(at least that's what the owner says) 2010 transmission from a 4.0 4x2 Explorer, will this tranny fit without problems into my older Ex?
If someone can answer me this fast it will be greatly appreciated since the tranny is for sale locally at the moment!!!

2003 uses the 5R55W, 2010 uses the 5R55S - perhaps lookup the specs for mounting points, etc and see if they are compatible. My guess is that they would be, but not 100% sure.

Thanks for the help, I think they are the same since the is the same engine. I also noticed that they sell same valve body for both models.
