2011 Ex Limited Push Button Start Dead

Any update?
Replaced battery in fob, now the fob won’t work. Removed start stop button next. Ordering new start stop button unless you have other suggestions. What I mean by the side panel; is the window up and down and the door panel lock and unlock. All other electric objects work…seat moves forward and backwards, radio works, lights work and will ding if the door is open and they are left on, can connect my phone to my sync, volume button and seek button work on steering wheel, fit gate can be opened by the button but does trigger the alarm. I have been able to disable the alarm by repetitively pushing the “ok” button on the steering wheel. once I disabled the alarm the flashers went back to being normal and would allow me to turn them off and on.

Already tried unhooking negative battery cable, it did not work. Also unhooked positive cable for 45 minutes to reset anti theft device in case it wasn’t allow it to start, didn’t work. Removed start push button. Will replace tomorrow and se if it is faulty. Will update result.
Is there anyway to test the push start button? We have removed it.

Not ever having seen one that has been removed, I don't know what the back of it looks like. Any chance you could post a picture?
I'm guessing a multi-meter might do it. I don't know if it's possible to try starting it using the wiring that I'm guessing is exposed in the hole in the dash. :dunno:
