My 2013 has become very hard to start. It will turn over for a very long time before it starts hitting, finally starting...after starting and warms up it starts good... The next morning, same problem....anyone experience this?

Sounds like it's time for a trip to the dealership, Tackle shop. I'm happy to loop in your regional customer service manager so they can assist as well; just send me a PM with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership; I'll do the rest.

I have been experiencing the same issue for almost a year. 3 times Ive taken it in. Even recorded it with my phone. Response from North Bros. Ford is "we cannot duplicate the problem.". Taking it to another dealership next week. Only happens when its colder outside and has been sitting for at least 8 hours. I hear popping occasionally too.

That sounds frustrating, dlt2008. Have you dropped off your Explorer so they can start it up in the morning? From the conditions you described, they might have better luck duplicating it if it sat overnight. How many miles are on it now?

Yes Crystal. Took it to Bill Brown and they also couldn't duplicate the problem. Had it sit 3 days and checked 3 days. Magically, the very next day (because I have nothing else to do) it did the same thing. Additionally, my door ajar alarm also is going off again. 15,300 miles on it. Don't feel safe driving it. Been driving it for over 6 months now like this. The dealership who buys this vehicle after the lease expires is going to be very frustrated.

Thanks for following up, dlt0028. PM me your information so I can get this into the hands of your regional customer service manager. Be sure to include your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.
