2014 explorer limited awd
I have a 2014 limited with 20k miles. It has now been at ford for 3 weeks. I found a puddle of gummy oily liquid under it and found it blew out the coolant reservoir cap. The oil cooler went out and sent oil into the coolant system. They are replacing the hoses and oil cooler. Anybody heard of this happening? I'm i the only one who thinks it will be impossible to flush the nasty mixture of coolant and oil out of the cooling system? Any suggestions

Welcome to the forum, JoonyD! I want to escalate this to your regional customer service manager so they can help. To make that happen, send me a PM with your full name, best daytime phone, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership. I'll do the rest. :)

Thank you crystal, I have a case number and am working with rep ( well I haven't heard from him yet, but was told to wait 15 days for a call or buy back offer). I was just wondering if this was a fluke or of other explorer owners have had an issue with these. I unfortunately own 6 super duty trucks in my fleet and all have the 6.0 diesel. I am a frequent visitor to the service department. I can't begin to tell you how many egr coolers, turbos, high pressure oil pumps, etc... I have bought.. All trucks have less than 100k but are out of warranty by age... 2004-2006's . I hope my loyalty to ford will help my cause and they will step up and buy this thing back as it is my wife's daily driver
