You installed the Diode HIDs on your Sport in Canada. What happens with the DRL? I just ordered a pair and realized I didn't know the answer to this.

Sorry, I don't have a Sport nor did I install Diode HID's. My MKT already has OEM HID.

Also realized after posting that the 'search function is my friend' - I found the answer I was looking for

The kit comes with two relays, and I also purchased the DRL relays as well.

Looking forward to my kit arriving soon.

Mine run HID DRL all the time no issues.

The other option is you go to the dealership and ask them to use their IDS tool and you switch DRL settings to parking lights. Some charge, some don't.

I like white DRL so I run HIDs.

Sgt. Did you use the HD relay with your install? Debating whether it's needed or not.

Yes I did, I followed the install wiring diagram from Diode Dynamics because I had no experience with HID installs.

I did the HID conversion today. Easy peasy. I was wondering if the kit usually comes with instructions, not that they are really necessary but, some might find them helpful in someway. I was surprised my kit did not come with them. I found it a bit odd the plug from the bulb would fit in either direction on the converter plug. It was a 50/50 shot at plugging it in correctly and I didn't notice it when I did the first side and thought the bulb was dead but, I soon found out what the deal was and all is well. Just a bit strange I guess.
