2014 front windshield defogger is forced air only?

Just checking that the front windshield in my 2014 indeed does NOT have a wired resistance heat type of defogger. Just the forced air defrost from the HVAC system? But the rear window does have the heated wire type of defogger. If so, do any explorers have a wired heat front windshield? Thanks all.

Only certain Ford vehicles are equipped with windshield wiper de-icer.

The answer is NO. The rear is wired, the front is forced air.
