[VIDEO] Please Help identify this fan or belt noise that occurs the last few seconds after the engine turns off and winds down. 2015 Ford Explorer Sport. It's been doing this for a long time but I'm finally getting around to asking about it. It only happens on days some secondary cooling fan kicks in when it's hot enough.

What is it from?
Where is it?
Can I lube it myself? (or does it require taking things apart via pro?)

Thanks!

My guess is the cooling fans (bearing inside).
You might be able to lube it, but I'm not positive.
After it stops making noise, try spinning the fan blades by hand to see if it makes noise.

Sounds like the fan. Similar issue on a 2016:

Also there is a thread about it for the 2016 Explorer.

Our Escape (but not our Explorer) makes the same noise. Noisy fan bearing.

Thanks, took it in and confirmed my 2015 Ford Explorer Sport needs P/N DA8Z-8C607-B
(and it's covered under my extended warranty)
I'm taking it in on 30APR (Monday)
They are also going to fix a few recall items. (the exhaust hole leak fill and door trim/carpet thing)

Old military format habit
27APR2018 aka 04/27/2018 (or 27/04/2018 for UK/AU etc)

Edit I see I mean 30APR (not 27) ha

UPDATE:
So I had a new DA8Z-8C607-B put into my 2015 Ford Explorer Sport around Spring 2018. All was well through the summer.

After 3,000 miles the SAME fan noise came back again recently. I bought it in and they confirmed it's bad.
I just had the 2nd DA8Z-8C607-B put in today and it's back to normal, no more noise even on a hot 90 degree day.

Ford said they give a 2 year warranty on all replacement parts. (I didn't have to pay a dime)

I plan to buy a 2020 Explorer Sport once those are out in 2019 so hopefully I don't have to replace DA8Z-8C607-B too many times before then. It's a bit odd that this part is failing multiple times.

2 year warranty is only on replacement parts you buy, not parts put in under an ESP.
