Seriously, no keys in the ignition and it comes out of park and will go throw the complete shift range.
This appears to happen only after the factory remote start is utilized.
After using the key to turn off the engine, you press the brake pedal to the floor and take it out of park. Put it in neutral for instance and you will roll if on a slope.
Nothing is touched when using the key to turn off the engine.
But once you put it back in park you can't shift out of park again.
Is this common or a fluke that I need to be concerned with?
It is a 2015 XLT with just over 10000 miles on it and it does have the Select Sift transmission.
